I haven’t heard much of The Kills but I’m a big fan of Alison Mosshart and her other band The Dead Weather which she’s in with Jack White. I’ve just listened to this new track by her original band and it’s absolutely fantastic, really dark and dirty stuff. The opening intro kind of sounds like a car starting up and from then on it’s nothing but fantastic. You can listen to it here:

They’ve also just released a video for their new track, which is going to be the debut single off of the new album ‘Blood Pressures’. It was only released today and you can watch it here:
I’m definitely going to check out their back catalogue after coming across this track only a few minutes ago. If this is anything to go by then I can’t wait to hear their previous work and I’m looking forward to their new album which is out on the 4th April.
